The Sending Servers feature in eMailBase allows you to add email sending servers for executing email campaigns. Here, you can set up standard SMTP connections or integrate with third-party email services such as Amazon SES, SendGrid, Mailgun, ElasticEmail, Sparkpost, and other services. Additionally, you can utilize the email-sending capabilities of your hosting system by configuring a “PHP Mail” or “Sendmail” server.
Here are the Sending Server options in eMailBase and their corresponding connection types:
Access Sending Server Settings
Go to Settings > Sending Servers in eMailBase.
Select Sending Server Type
Click on Add Sending Server and choose the server type you wish to set up from the list provided.
Configure Connection
Enter the required information such as SMTP Host, Port, authentication details (username and password), or API Key depending on the server and protocol you have selected.
Save and Activate Server
If the connection test is successful, save the configuration and activate the server for use in your email campaigns.
NOTE:
Ensure that you have valid authentication details and access to third-party servers before configuring them in eMailBase.
Set SMTP Server Name
Name*: Name the SMTP server, e.g., "SMTP Gmail".
Default FROM Email: Set the default email address.
Configure Bounce and Feedback Handling: If you need to track bounced emails or responses, configure the Bounce handler and Feedback loop handler.
Set Send Rate Limit (Speed Limit): To avoid being blocked or flagged as spam by providers, set a reasonable send rate limit. For example, 200 emails per hour.
Manage Sending Identity: Add allowed domains for sending emails to ensure security and validity for the FROM address.
